There should always be a way for us to kill the diablo 3 character, no matter by physical attack or mental / spirit attack forms. Have you noticed the ways of attacking different diablo 3 character types? Here are some attack ideas I figure out from the diablo 2 game, and hope these would be helpful in the diablo 3 world as well:

I find that in Diablo2, the most fun characters, are those who have some areas or monsters or things they struggle with, it forces the player to think and work differently, as well as breaking the monotony of mindless progression.

If you meet a lightning immune mob, you are very likely to have at least 1attack that isn’t lighting.
If you meet a large, but weak mob (Think the skeletons of act 2) you are very likely to have at least 1 aoe attack.
If you meet a single, but very tough monster, you are very likely to have at least 1 high damage single target attack.
If you get in trouble, you are very likely to have some form of escape/traveling skill.

For example, the monks exploding palm attack could be worthless on skeletons being they don’t have hearts. So if a monk player was depending on the exploding palm skill to deal with large crowds, he would have a weakness for large crowds of skeletons. He would still be able to kill them using one of his other attacks, but they would be particularly tough for him.

Any idea? Agree? Disagree? Some feedbacks please!

We have known that the max level in diablo 2 is level 99. So what will that be in diablo 3 game? A lot more, say level 200 or just like wow in this moment, level 80? That would be one of the questions. Another question raised by diablo player is that, why should I raise my diablo 3 character hardly to the max level? Let’s hear what those people said:

Well, i never maxed my lvl in D2. Why? “What for?” i ask you. It takes loooots of time and gives me nothing. I got so much extraskill points from items i really don’t care about lvls 90+.
For me it’s one of the D2 flaws. D2 is so booooring after playing it zilion times. But i hope D3 quest system will fix it. In game LOKI i had to lvl fast couse final boss was so hard you fought it AFTER all difficulty levels were accomplished. Leveling system is in my opinion closely followed by difficulty of final boss. I realy enjoyed Cyianide’s LOKI system.
And i have HIGH expectations of Blizz as well. And easiness of Diablo in D2… no comments, i dont want to write vulgar words here. Long story short – next flaw in D2.

So, which side are you in? Max or not Max? Or you have got option 3: buy diablo 3 accounts to make yourself the top. Vote for your idea!

Trading is always an important feature in gameplay. What this does is promote the idea of bartering/trading that is essential to a diablo game. If gold was the currency, players would simply farm items/gold spots (in which im sure there would be 1 area), and save up until they have enough money. This is inevitable, because gold is always being found. An item based currency on the other hand may or may not be found. Items can have drop rates adjusted, whereas gold can not. If that’s too difficult for people to find gold in game, the only choice would be buy diablo3 gold from outside diablo 3 stores in order to get sufficient gold supply for in game purchase of diablo 3 gear or other stuffs. This method has been applied by many people, and will continue to be applied by many diablo 3 player in the future.

Personally, I am not in favour of this “species”. Killing it with gun shots and fire balls may be fun for me, but I always turn the sound low to avoid sudden shocking noise produced by dying zombies. In Official forum of diablo 3, there are also discussion about this issue as well. Let’s look at it together:

I like the idea of having different zombies. BUT, i don’t like the zombie models, or the noises they make. they look and act too real, too alive. normally, zombies have been dead and rotting, or reanimation after blood has coagulated, which makes the body stiff. something is just off with them for me. honestly, if i had my eyes closed, i might not be able to tell by the sound that they were zombies. their dying noises, they seem too, not dead. especially the female zombies, it could probably pass off as a crazed woman, not a zombie. they dont seem scary at all, not that i expect to be scared, but there have been a couple of times where in games, things made noises which sent chills down my spine, regenerators from RE4 being one of those when i was a young kid.

So, how’s your feeling towards zombies? I guess you won’t like them, right? Share with us your ideas! And don’t forget to come and visit our Diablo 3 store afterwards. Bye!

Why to click fire Shrines

Why are shrines so obvious? Being a sensible person means that you look at the shrine before you click on it. It’d be a lot more interesting if every shrine was just named ,”Shrine” and generates a random affect while keeping it a secret until it is clicked. Fire shrines are just ignored in diablo 2 and people fight for beneficial shrines like the exp shrine. The group will have to think about if their situation allows for a gamble or if they should just wait and heal up.

The only reason anyone clicks on fire shrines is because:

1) they are trying to be a murderer.

2) they are clicking too fast

3) their brains arn’t working at that moment

Tried clicking on shrines before in Diablo2? Tell us why you click on it, what you were thinking while clicking, and –
did you regret for it

Expanding on what I previous said in the last post Diablo 3 currency, gold is found off everything in diablo 3. As every item dropped off a monster can be inherently sold to a vendor for cash. This means that players can farm any area in the game and continuously gain gold. This means for example that players can stay in nightmare and gain a solid amount of gold. Balancing gold drops in 3 different acts would be very hard. It doesn’t work with monster levels or player levels.

Item drops on the other hand, can, and HAVE BEEN balanced around plvl and mlvl. This means that you can only find specific items in particular areas of the game and off specific monsters. So why don’t we mix it together? Let gold be the first, and it functions the same way as it has in Diablo and Diablo 2. This allows Diablo 3 to keep the same feel as the previous diablo 2 games. The second currency would follow item properties and can only drop in particular areas off particular monsters. It would be recorded the same way as gold is, just in a different area.

Diablo 3 currency has always been an issue for many diablo3 players. People are wondering about the questions of “type of currency”, “name of currency” and also the “weight of currency in Diablo 3″.

In Diablo 2 there has always been a currency backed by the economy, and it was necessary for trading. A lot of people want to see gold as the new currency. I have argued countless times that gold has its place and shouldnt be used as a player 2 player currency. Gold is used to interact with NPC’s and other in game systems. It is necessary to buy and sell items from vendors, to gamble, to purchase mercs, and other small items. This is the essence of a Diablo game. Also note that limiting the amount of gold found does nothing to quell inflation, it only lowers the number temporarily.

What are your views on Diablo 3 currency? Will you be happy if that’s gold, or just keep it that way in Diablo2? Leave some comments to us!

Brilliant, is there plans to edit the other class pages with the “Toggle Male/Female” button to show the 3D moving concept? Also, there is a toggle button to see the 3D moving model for the Female/Male Monk at the top.

I got to say I love the design.
Still conflicted on whether to create a male or female monk…

There were rumours that a new class would soon be unveiled at the end of March, so when the Archivist was announced on April 1st, fans were excited to find out more but were quickly shot down as they go through the details of the class. It was obviously an April Fools joke. But it could have still be fun if it was the real deal.

So, just what is the Archivist?

Remember the Paladin from Diablo 2? Well, from what I read, the Archivist originates from the same place as the Paladins of WestMarch. Though from the same background, they are not the usual warriors/spellcasters kind of heroes. The Archivist are actually scholars equipped with Ancient Knowledge of Light.

Yes! These are basically Nerds in the ancient universe of Diablo. Don’t think that they are just your ordinary Nerds though, they have awesome cool skills and they can really kick ass!!

And the above point also lead to one disastrous thing, patching the game. Usually games require patch for 2 main reason, adding new content and fixing the game. While both PC and console need their fixes, console are easier to fix than their PC counterpart. The same reason would be the different configuration of the PC.

So the patch for PC might come later than the console as there are more things to fix and more testing to be done before it is released on the public. And most of the time patches always causes problems that the developer might not foresee. The consoles does that too but less. And not to mention they are easier to hot fix than the PC.
