Diablo 3 currency
Thursday, February 4th, 2010Diablo 3 currency has always been an issue for many diablo3 players. People are wondering about the questions of “type of currency”, “name of currency” and also the “weight of currency in Diablo 3″.
In Diablo 2 there has always been a currency backed by the economy, and it was necessary for trading. A lot of people want to see gold as the new currency. I have argued countless times that gold has its place and shouldnt be used as a player 2 player currency. Gold is used to interact with NPC’s and other in game systems. It is necessary to buy and sell items from vendors, to gamble, to purchase mercs, and other small items. This is the essence of a Diablo game. Also note that limiting the amount of gold found does nothing to quell inflation, it only lowers the number temporarily.
